And that is a part of the "Anlage", nearly 100 pictures of the allowed (and changed in the design) orders and decorations:
Only these documented peaces in the "Anlage" are original 57 versions

Hi,
"Nimmergut/Feder/von der Heyde, Deutsche Orden und Ehrenzeichen" is not the correct source, but the answer from Mark is correct.
The (only) correct source is (I'm sorry, it is only a bad copy):

Grenztruppen der DDR, Orden, Preise, Ehrentitel, Medaillen, Abzeichen

Hi Tony,
thank you very much for this information
"Lithuanian Vycio Kryziaus (Vycio Cross) 5 th Class"
I thought, that it is the 3rd class, the lowest?

Hi Dan,
you have to look for some more details, not only the pin.
For example:
1 without the national coat of arms, reverse numbered
2 with the national coat of arms
3 with the national coat of arms, a small ring added
4 unhyphenated
5 hyphenated
The medal in the center (post 149/150) is matching to your document from 1962.
Look at your book: "Klaus H. Feder, Uta Feder, Auszeichnungen der Nationalen Volksarmee", page 91 - 94.

Hi Dan,
Post 125: "I now have the Urkunde to go with this medal:"
I'm sorry, that is not correct.
The Urkunde is from 1962, the medal is from 1977 -1986 (34,7mm 1977-1983, 35mm from 1984 -1986)
Looking at "Bartel, DDR-Spezialkatalog 1949-1990 Band I, Staatliche Auszeichnungen", you can find for "Treue Dienste NVA in Bronze" 6 different versions of the medal.
That is a medal from 1962:

Hi Grant,
don't worry, be happy
In my collection of Banner der Arbeit, unnumbered and numbered, I found 8 different cases.
Different in the dimensions, the interior, the weight and the colour (black and red, red in variations).

Hi Paul,
post 4: "A very nice DDR(1977) published book"
I do not believe that it is published in 1977.
That is the book cover of the second edition 1983.
The first edition is from 1980:

Hi Dan,
"Is that device on the bottom normal?"
Yes, it is.
Here are 3 of the 4 variant pieces, awarded 1964 - 1985. Missing is the second; at the reverse a needle, but without the pins.

Hi Chris,
I am a simply structured German, and I do not understand what Darrell with his statements would like to express.
The badge ist post WWII, but I cannot date it. It could have been produced in the period from 1948 to 1952, may be still later. They were still sold many years later.
I beg your pardon for my bad English.

Uwe

Hi Andy,
are you sure, that you are talking (writing) about the same badge with DSA?
1966 it must be a DSB sports badge on the document, and not a DSA.

Hi,
here are some seldom to be seen sports badges with DSA (Deutsches Sportabzeichen), in Bronze, Silber and Gold.
Awarded 1948 - 1952 in North Rhein-Westphalia, Schleswig-Holstein (1949) and Hamburg (1949).
Total awards 15,682. I don't know the figures for Silber and Gold, but the proportional distribution is estimated bronze 93%, silver 5% and gold 2%.
Marked St. & L. Ges.Gesch.

What is this?
in Germany: Imperial: The Orders, Decorations and Medals of The Imperial German States
Posted
Hi,
it is very hard to explain it in English
It is a badge of an old German Artiste's association, founded in Hamburg, with several sections in Germany and, later, in Switzerland:
Artisten-Verein Sicher wie Jold. S.w.J.
later in Switzerland: Internationaler Artisten- und Musiker-Verband Sicher wie Jold.
"Sicher wie Jold" was a saying which served in the confirmation of an action, like "Everything is okay".
Time frame for this badge 1893 - 1934.
Regards
Uwe
