The So called Medal in fact is a coin. Belongs to Muzzafar Aldin Shah(qajar dynasty). The value is 5000 dinars. Made of sliver and the year is 1320 Hijri (lunar). It wasn't really a medal. It possibly was a gift from an official or royal member to another person. In Iranian/Persian culture gifting money has been a tradition for many centuries. Some people then liked the idea of changing the coin to a medal like many other available examples.
The Solar calendar was introduced by Pahlavi Dynasty.
