This is my grandfather Otto Hellmuth Speidel and I can prove this!. had 7 kids 2 daughters and 5 sons one of the sons is my dad .David D Speidel who changed his name from Herman Speidel by the US Gov he was a US cit in 1965 came to USA in 1952 and joined the US Army and Air Force and became a US cit in 1965 .
