Hi everyone,
I am trying to study every day my small Imperial Germany collections and another two questions have arrisen.
1. What does "W","R","A" and "V" mean between the Red Cross (the Balkan Cross?) negative spaces around it?
2. Approximately how many of those medals were awarded?
Thank you,
Noor

Thanks for extra information joemiller! Interesting pieces. Actually as I understand there is not many of those medals around at all. Or what I wanted to say, they are not the most common ones but still it is possible to get them.
But my one has the same reverse, as your right one on the picture, but as you see, the ribbon is the same as the left one on yours.

Noor

Hi,
First at all, thanks for all information, what i got from here last days.
But I have more and more questions
1. Kurhessisches J?ger Bataillon No. 11. 5.12.1813-5.12.1913.
What kind jubilee medal it is? Like I understand, it is for this unit, what got 100 years old. But who institute this award, who got this award (probably members of this unit?) and prox. how many of those medals awarded?
2. Prinzregent Luitpold-Medaille 1905 in Bronze
Like I understand, this award was for army, given in 1905 and in 1911/12? I think I have this 1905 year one, with text on the reverse "AM 70 JAHRESTAG MEINES DIENSTANTRITTES DER BAYER ARMEE"?
Again, who institute this award and prox. how many of them awarded during those years?
Thanks for looking,
Noor

Hello everyone,
I got yesterday my first German Cross from another forum member (thanks for that thumbsup).
What is you opinion, is it possible to fix here something or I keep it, as it is? (Back plate is missing totally and on the front is some brown paint or something like that). But I really like this award!!!!
Thanks for looking and any advise would be great!
