Hi everyone, I just received a 1938 dated Shupo Tunic with a replaced, hand sewn sleeve eagle. The eagle is on a felt type background material and is incorrect to the tunic it is attached. I can see were the origonal eagle was machine sewn. The tunic itself is origonal but I don't think the eagle is authentic? I would like your opinions on it. I'm not a police collector so all comments welcome on this one. Thank you, Steve

Nice tunic Paul! When did you get the LW officer hat? I really like it. You need to invest in a display torso! Steve -

Paul, The tunic is a M42. It has a later type, NCO/Officer silver wire bevo eagle hand sewn to the chest also it has the bone white tress, matching boards and collar. Normally you find this type of tress on SS tunics, rare on Heer tunic. I have included a full front shot. Cheers! Steve P.S. I have addeda few photos to your threads on LW medical and Admin.
