    1. Here's another old WW2 Soviet soldier photograph. It seems like the photo-studio, as well as the pose set-up is a bit improvised? It looks like the private just came in from the battle, put down his PPSh-41 submachine gun and posed for this photo. Interesting contrast to the living room clock and the tea pot and cup.
    2. Put together a small Photoshop montage of the medals.
    3. Here's a NCO's long-serving cross. This was called " the officers long-serving cross II class", and was awarded for 25 years service.

Any help or comments is most welcomed. ----------------------------------------------------------- Two Artillery WW2 veterans.

    7. Hello Gent's ! Collecting has been quite slow this summer, so I have to present some of my older medals until new treasures drops in. -----------------~~--------------------- As my great grandfathers grave was moved after 50 years in 1968 to another location, my grandfather who was present removed these three medals from the remains. He saved them all his life since there were only a very few things from his father.
    8. I just love restoring old photographs in PS. Lot's of work though.. The hardest parts is to get the correct skin tones. A good way is to always work in layers and paint on the different colours rather then just change the original layer. Cheers!
