    1. I got that nice Finnish medal lot. The seller told me, that the father of his wife (she is from Finland) got those medals during WWII. I made some research and I found out that this are: 1. The commemorative medal of winter war 1939 - 1940 2. The commemorative medal of the continuation war 1941 - 1945 3. Badge for the Finnish reserve officer course 4. Badge for a customs award / medal? 5. Finnish coat of the arms - I think nothing official - who knows more? Do you know if this Badge of the reserve officer course is a WWII era type? The screw is marked BARCK HELSINIKI. I know that this badge was also given after WWII to participants of that reserve officer course. Do you have more information about that customs award? How much is the approximate value of that reserve officer badge and the customs award (only for insurance reasons). Thank you KDVR

    5. Many thanks for that helpful information. - Do you know for what reason this badge was awarded? - Do you know in which period this version was awarded? - Do you have a screw back left which fits to that badge? Many thank for your great help! KDVR PS: This are my first Mongolian awards. I like them very much!
    6. Many thanks for that important information. So the description in the collectors guide to Sowiet medals, written by Mc Daniel, about the 3rd type of the Belgrade medal (wrong inscription on the back side) must be seen as a copy. May be someone of the forum has more information: this medal was bought by a collector in the early 90ies in Moscow. At that time copies of WWII campaign medals were very poor. So who could be the producer of that medal? In comparison with the well known Belgrade fakes and copies of the 90ies, this medal has a very high finish. Could it be possible that this medal was produced semi-officially by a mint - for little extra money? Who knows more?
