And Finally a man awarded with aBronce class Order in 1971.
I have learned that of all classes and types (there is a 3rd type of this Order issued in 1977) there was 206 569 pieces awarded , still a quite small number when you compare to Soviet Orders.
And this was the most awarded in numbers of all in PRB !

Just one class left now.

And another young woman (well, Bulgaria was almost 1300 years by then so she is really young)
Hmmm, well This is a Silver class of the 2nd type issued in 1971.

And here is the order, observe the new type of suspension and the lost of the small wreath.
I think this type was introduced in 1950 but that is just a qualified guess...

And here is the inside with the man awarded in the order itself.
This 1st type was introduced in June 1945
I have been told that not more than 50! Orders was awarded of this early type but I have no proof of that, but they are quite rare!
I am not sure this document is really for this order since the 2nd type came in 1950, but maybe they still used old stock into mid 50?s ?
It is hard to say what doc belonged to what order after 50 years, a lot can have happened on the way
Very Nice order although !

Here is the one of the oldest Orders in Peoples Republic of Bulgaria
The Order of Peoples Labour or Order of Labour as it later was named.
First out the box and dokument for the first issued Order Gold class, it is a cardboard box. I am not sure if this one is older than the Wooden boxes for this order but I bought the order in this box and it do look old.

And the award cert itself, it is so much more interesting when you can get an awarded Order, because of the big quantities of un-awarded Orders that came out on the market after the PRB ended in 1991.
This awarded in 1986.

And the insida with the Order, in theese late boxes the award cert was placed in a pocket in the lid, quite nice touch I think.
Also here is the small miniature order to be used on civilian clothes I think?
A impressive award from the late 80s

Next one is a II class in the late Plastic Box who was used for most orders until the end of PRB
I don?t know really when this boxes came to use but my guess is in the middle of 80s ?
Even at this time quite nice and impressive boxes.

And the reverse where you can see the simplier construction
And only 19117 pieces was awarded in all of all three classes if I am correct, that means maybe 10000 III class approx, 6000 II class and 3000 I class ?
if they where awarded in same way as other I,II and III class orders?

Theese second issues has the new ( after 1971) national emblem and are made in one piece, the hanger is of Aluminium.

Bulgarian Red Banner Order
in Central & Eastern European States
Posted
Wow , Now we soon have a real data base here !!
Here is my sole document for an early Red banner To Lt Rodev
Number 5876 and issued in 1955 , the numbers are written in blue ink, but i really looks old and similar to other
written numbers I have. Why they did?nt write the number right away is a mystery? But Stogiemans book is also without number?
Its always like this, a lot of new questions
