Hallo Gentlemen!
I wonder if there is anyone who could help me with identity of the Tanks?
I know very little about WW 1 Tanks so any info will be great !
First out is a knocked out one on the West Front

Next one is a Ship from the famous White Star Line RMS Cymric.
Bulit 1897 and 12552 tons. Torpedoed by German Submarine U 20 NW of Fastnet 8th May 1916 and sunk the following day
with the loss of 5 lives.
And Yes, the submarine U-20 was the same submarine that sunk Lusitania.

I keep looking for more unlucky ships

Hi all!
I don?t Think I Have showed this little bar did I ?
As I get older my memory gets shorter
If I read it right it is EK - Preuss VK - Oldenburg (FA kr or Red Cross?) - Braunschweig KvK NC - LS - 1897 ?
What do you think ? a doctor from a Oldenburg/Brusnwick Rgt ?
Sorry for the blurred pic of backside, I try again to scan it better if anyone wish.
All the best from Imperial Sweden!

picture and the third class was of course most common. But Here it is complete with a Doc !! Much more fun
And now when my wife walked away I can assure you that I am going to look for the rest of badges ...... hi hi hi There are six of them, 5 to go

And one last pic, it is the same grave but some time has passed, a new grave has been arranged beyond this one and the words on the cross has beginning to fade away, maybe the widow travelled to France after the war and visited the grave?
I like theese small simply groups because they tell a lot about the man who fight on the battlefields and the woman left behind.
I wonder what became of Anton daughters?

Just to sum the sad story up, here is a photo of the grave , seems to be rather short after the burial, new flowers and the words are easy to read.
I suppose someone of his friends send it to the family to show where he was buried.
only one of millions .....
