Sorry i just had to reply !! the forum is about learning !!! and there are exceptions to every rule .....if you note JFS did produce SS buckles !!!!! yes not that it makes a huge difference on value the tab is by a different maker ..but it is not an addition...please learn and read the thread !!!! Hi Not sure if this will help you.This one is an original WW2 issue i bought through Bosleys.The rear scorpion is dished,no prominent edge to the outer edge of the badge .nicely cut out lettering,correct die flaws etc..very nice and desirable. Your group is certainly interesting and worthy of further investigation..if i had viewed i would have risked a buck or two.. best wishes steve

    12. Just spotted this,always thought the pins at the rear were at top and bottom ??? Anyone in the know on here regarding Finnish Pilot badges ??? Is it WW2 period and correct ?? I admit not my area of knowledge though always wanted one ! Thanks steve

Hello, Just recieved from Her Weitze,a very nice late war "private purchase"non maker marked juncker style Prussian observers badge.Lovelly detail two piece construction,rayed back with weap hole at hinge. Added pictures from site , but will add to my gallery new pics tommorow. hope you like. steve

    15. Hello again, yes it is very large 65mm has some indiscriminate makers markings to side and a bronze issue. I bought this about five years ago for ?150 any idea to present value ???? Of intererst i have to balloon pilot badges,Officer bullion and NCO only used 1871/1912 hope you like !! cheers Steve

Hi, My memory is not what it was,but i believe it was over six years ago if not a lot more.Iam aware these are heavily copied It may be right or a wrong one,i am no expert but i still adore it,as i think its a great badge.As always everyones opinion on any badge is valid,having studied the forum sites discussing WW1 Vets panzer badges i dont think anyone is 100% sure on which examples are period,some are obvious copies but others i have seen you just have to marvel at !!....blimy what a minefield ..worse than WW1 pilot badges !!! best wishes steve
