    1. I would think the chinstrap is original.....though it is no longer complete. Looks like the attaching clips on both sides have broken off. Too bad about that but it is legit! Nice... Rob

    11. Here is my baby: a Mark 1* Inglis 9mm Browning Hi-power. Same used by Canadian soldiers in WW2, Korea and even well into the 1980's.....you know what they say.....when it ain't broke....don't try to fix it.     12. According to my references, the West wall medal was first produced in in bronzed brass and tombak (500 000 by the end of 1940). A second striking of the medal took place at the end of 1944 and this time the medal was made of bronzed zinc. Hope that helps.... Rob

    17. Here's the name and unit markings inside the leather liner. That was quite a find. With that info. I was able to get info all the way down to the individual unit!! This unit was involved from Poland '39 to Prussia '45....cool with most of the action taking place on the eastern front! [attachmentid=9421]
