    1. Thanks, Dave. here are some more pictures of the both L/11er. Best wishes, Oliver
    2. Hi, here are some of my new crosses of the last 10 days: EK2 mm L/11 with early LDO marked case with "Schmuckstempel" on back EK2 mm L/11 with early LDO marked case, stamped L/11 on back EK2 mm 24 with matching packet, beige EK2 mm 25 with matchin packet, blue EK2 without mm in beige packet, also without mm. Some tinnies Regards, Oliver
    3. Hi Robert, hi Bill, the numbers in the 1939 look different between Bill`s EK2 and Robert`s EK1, the swasi on Bill`s EK2 is different, too. It goes straight down and on Robert`s cross, the swasi is light sloping I don?t believe that both crosses are made bey Wiedmann. IMO the EK2 was made by a different maker, that i don?t know at the moment. Best wishes, Oliver
    4. Hi Robert, there are two possibilities about the 22mm crosses, imo: 1: Boerger & Co bought EK2`s (most in standart-design) from other firms and sold them with their maker mark. 2: Someone, after the war, stamped these crosses with 22 to create a new and rare variant Best wishes, Oliver
    5. Hi Bill, hi Robert, i`m sorry to say, that in my opinion, theses 22 mm crosses are all post war marked. There are so many ( i guess 7 or 8) core and frame variants. I can`t imagine, that one manufactor used 7 or more designs in frames and cores. Best wishes, Oliver
    6. Hello, thanks for all your replies ! yes, some of the medals i bought also with this group. here are the oics of two of the for clasps, the EK2 and the engeneered badge. All pieces are maker-marked. Waht happende to the other badges and medals, that i can not answer. Regards, Oliver
    7. Hi, here are one of my favourite pieces. It is an Honor Goblet, awarded to Uffz. Heinrich Rengstorf, on 02.02.1943. He also got both Iron Crosses, Reconnaissance award in Bronce, Silver, Gold and Gold with pendant and the Flight Engineer?s Badge I bought this group some month ago from my uncle who bought it directly from the familiy of H. Rengstorf. I hope you like it...... Regards, Oliver
    8. Hi Robert, yes the patina looks very good on these worn pieces. Ses the 100 mm EK1 and EK2: to find a worn piece with nice patina is more difficult than finding a mint cross. Most of my crosses, 95%, are in worn condition, only a fiew are mint. I did a search for the little ?bergr??en EK2, but couldn`t find one. There was one for sale on Mili321, but it seems to be sold now.... Best wishes, Oliver
    9. Hi Robert, a very nice cross... IMO it is a Wiedmann with a different needle. The little plate under the little catch is missing, but that is no reason to wonder. The frame and core looks like Wiedmann. I like this light worn crosses more than the mint pieces. IMO they have more character.... Best wishes, Oliver PS: The ?bergr?e from Frank is an very good piece Now you need the little brother of the ?bergr??e-EK or do you have it ?
    10. Oh i know that kind of feeling very well... Did you buy the ?bergr??e from Frank ? I saw that he has on for sale on WAF. Oh...and a new EK1 for you ? A very good saturday for you... Has the Wiedmann cross you found the needle and hinge system like the round 3 Ek1 ? Or is it another and new variation of Wiedmann ? I had a Wiedmann PB a while back in my collection. Here is a pic from it: best wishes, Oliver
    11. Yes, Robert. Carsten had the one in his shop without the disc, but that was a EK1....i`m searching only for EK2..... The EK1 are not so hard to find, but he EK2 are as you know. Someday my time will come and so the L55 or L/56..... Best wishes, Oliver
    12. Yes, Robert. We all have to do our homework but with all this variations on EK1 and EK2 it is not so easy sometimes. Remember the discussion on WAF about the L/15. What we need are more documents, like Dietrich get about L/15, to say some something exactly about the manufactor, about their supplier, etc. Without docs we just can count 1 and 1 together, but we cannot say it for 100% sure. There are so many secrets that we have to clear up and that is a lot of work... But that can people do who have enough time... Best wishes, Oliver PS: I enjoyed our discussion, too.... If you see a L55 or L/56, please contact me. I let you know, when i see a L/12 EK1 that you are searching or L/12 Ek2 or if i will sell one of my L/12.
