    1. Hi, no thing.I might have been to fast as I would like to ask for a bigger shot of the "M?ller",actually at 2nd glance I am not so sure of M?ller,it might well be "Stiller". Cheers
    2. Don,the organisations you refer to covered by Angolia are some sort of mass-organizations.RVK seems more like a collective of people of the same profession or one economic sector.I bet it is much more difficult to come by info on these tiny fragmented organisations than those large mass-organisations. Cheers
    3. Hi, do these pictures show the real color of the disc? Also I am concerned about the lettering, esp. the top of the letters "I".In short I don?t like it,but that is just my opinion. Here is a ground-dug example....[attachmentid=47225] Here is one in good condition [attachmentid=47227]
    4. Hi Don, never seen before such documents, good looking though. Here is my common-sense approach: The earlier document is not only different in the design of the eagle, additionally there is this writing below the title. It says the RVK would be the sole recognised organisation in the "driving business sector" in accordance with some sort of order dated 4/34.Now the issue date is 7/34 so I am pretty sure this is the first version of the document. This logo seems like it is to proof the position of that organisation towards the state. Now the 2nd is issued in 37 that is 3 yrs time to establish this institution. It was inherent to any institution at that time that it was recognised by the Reich. Now maybe some official dealing with the procurement of these documents felt like driving and this sort of stuff wasn?t political and wouldn?t need a swaz.I have seen the same with "Ahnenp?sse" the heritage documents.I have no clue who had the final word about these design questions. Just my thoughts. Cheers
    5. Congrats,me,I haven?t seen that one before, too.I had to look like thrice to see the swaz Regards
    6. Thanks Kev I paid about your ebay price, but this is still a steal nowadays I have seen many TR steins, but the ones with names on just like the imperial Reservistensteins are rarely seen.In fact this is the second I could get a hold of while my first chance was snatched away by someone else back in the days,so I had to get this one here Regards
    7. Joe,always welcome! Those saddlebags do remind me of a fencing "ring" with two fencers symbolised, don?t you raise both hands when fencing-one upfront with the blade and the second somewhat showing to behind to keep the balance? Regards
    8. Hi, just want to share this nice stein with you.Any comments appreciated......[attachmentid=46262]
    9. Here I have finally some pics from the movement.....[attachmentid=46139]
    10. Yes,Sir! Yours is supposed to be for a "Fechtmeister/Oberfechtmeister" and mine for a "Bezirksfechtmeister".I can only guess that these were sort of grades. Regards
    11. Hi, I finally found the pin in Huesken It is 9652 "c" and Joe?s looks like "b",Deutsche Krieger Fechtanstalt. Cheers
    12. Thanks for posting,Bill! I have avoided these eagles as I have not had a clue about good and bad! This work here helps a lot to get to know these a little better. Next time I see one I won?t overlook it Regards
