Yup, and I think that was a pretty good deal.

It looks OK to me, and yes, there are tons of decent fakes floating around these days. Any maker's mark on the edge of the 6 o'clock cross arm?

I'm no ribbon expert, but I think yours stand a good chance. PM me if you've got a particular item you're looking for, I'm in BC.

Did you try the UV test? You can also try the match test to see if they are natural or synthetic. Where in Canada are you located?

Geez, that one keeps coming back like a bad rash.

Nice one, I have a soft spot for Meybauer produced items.

Yup, I did notice that the pin assembly looks like St.&L. 1957 stuff, but I've never seen a 1957 version of this pattern of badge. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

How does the backside look on that one?

I agree that that one is a fake, although genuine examples of the 'bent fuselage' pilot badge do exist, I have one.

Hmmm, there are excellent copies of the St. Michael floating around. That one should have hallmarks if legit. Would be the deal of the decade if real.

That was an iconic scene in that movie. And your VU for the Halbmond is really great Alex.

Nice one, and in perfect condition worth double that.

I'm no expert on EK's, but I've never seen an 1870, award piece or otherwise, that looks anything like that, aside from hundreds of fakes.

Unfortunately, with the exchange rate here in Canada it wasn't worth it for me.
