Hi Matt,
That is an interesting spange. I have a large Godet bar with this decoration on it, it is slightly different from the one you posted and something I bought as part of a larger purchase. It was shown in a previous thread by Noor, perhaps someone with more computer skills than I can dredge it up.

Junk. Not to be confused with ebay seller Ordenssammler, who is a good guy.

Horrible, especially considering the unique combo of awards. Very depressing.

Great photos Chris, is that a star of the HHO the Erbprinz is wearing?

Right Heiko, I meant USD.

The combination is certainly okay, but the mounting seems very chaotic, and the ribbons look very fresh. Have you looked at it under black light? The value of the decorations would be about 800.00.

Great restoration job, something I've been known to do as well. Very unique spange as well.

Full marks for comedic input from our friend Snyder.

I find this combo highly unlikely without the ubiquitous EK2.

Incredible piece, absolute 'spitzenklasse'.

Thanks Les, that's good advice. I actually have a jeweler who does repairs for me, so I'll take it to him. The other sword hilt is present, so that should help.

Gentlemen, I have a Crown Order 2nd Class with Swords, and it looks like it was run over by a tank. One of the sword hilts is missing, so I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for replacement. I was thinking of getting a cheap Goede replacement for it, but am open to all suggestions.

Great bar, I can't get enough of these 1870 EK spanges.

I don't like the crown either, and as you point out, the hardware is not right. Close, but no cigar.

Wow, what an incredible spange.

Thanks Sascha, that's the one I thought it was. I bought the document because it was awarded to an Oberstabsarzt a. D.

Interesting spange, but at first glance I would not have guessed that to be a Godet construction.

A very brave and principled man, right up there with others such as Martin Niemoeller.

Chris, I was bidding on some of these docs, as were probably a few others here. I only managed to get one photo, and got sniped on several documents from Prussia. It was the most incredible grouping I've seen in years. Unfortunately, it is now scattered to the winds, a real shame considering the extreme historical significance of these items.

Nice ones, eitze, and I agree with you about the Hessen-Kassel medal. I just picked one up, and they are great looking.

Aha, that is very nice, a Ducal Hohenzollern winner as well.

White stripes on EK ribbon look too narrow, and the wrapping of the ribbons seems strange as well.

Good looking badge, but I agree with Alex, markings are not typical for Juncker.

Fantastic spange, with a somewhat eclectic mounting precedence.

Great bar Micha, and a very unusual combination.
