    1. Charles brother was a Vet of the WWII and korea Awarded BS for Jump on corrigador with the 503rd AB Died on Manuvers 1958 with the 82nd AB at the age of 43 as a Major

    3. THANKS ! I have a note with burial flag he was buried oct 1947 in ny not sure where? I believe the 37 KIAs were for 27th division only on eniwetok and the 800 japanese also the 22nd marines assaulted the other Island not sure on its name? I think a US aircraft carrier was sunk by a Jap sub.
    4. Heres my latested KIA Benardo was KIA on feb 19 1944 on the 1st day of the Amphibious assault on Eniwetok Atoll A total of 37 KIAs were on this island the Japanese lost 800 KIA Also have his burial flag!!!! anyone have any info ???

    7. Got second letter back from NARA stating GO #242 for silver star citation can not be located ! But Found GO#53 for his 1st bronze star medal was fwd to me! For Heroic Achivement in Action from period of Nov 5 1944 to 10 Jan 1945 in Eastern France.On repeated occasions Sgt. Mcintire distiuished himself by his conduct under hostile fire.As a member of a wire crew during the time his company occupied positions at the edge of tthe woods ne Le Hochschidt France,Sgt. Mcintire worked unremittingly to mantain efficient commnications under adverse conditions,and on five occasions braved hostile motar and rocket fire in company with his comrades in order to splice severed wire lines while exposed to direct enemy observation. so now where do i turn to get GO # 242 100th divsion HQ 1945 ???
    8. THANKS All info helps !!! I been slowly getting more it took me over a year to find his grave!!!! This and my 173rd AB Nov 8 1965 are my last two Nam KIAs traded the rest or sold them Now wish i have kept them all!!!! they don't show up too much anymore!!!!
