Hello, here is a rough study of what is proposed on "E", only about the 3rd class stars.
The 2nd should deserve a separate study?
I strongly believe we are in front of unissued orders that have been driven on the private market.
They all come from knwon dealers, here EmonXXXX from Slovenia
Now NatXXX from Serbia:
Now KragXXX from Serbia:
one of the riffles shows a heavy casting defect, but the obervese is perfectly finished.
At the soviet or czech mint, such a defect would have led the medal to melting oven. But I tend to believe Ikom products were less well finished
Now a fake which can't hide its identity:

Hello Philip, thank you for your opinion. Yes I'm concerned too, the prices are low, and I saw some defects even on 3rd class stars.
I saw basic fakes now proposed.
I am concerned about some casting defects, but you're perfectly right about enamels, the deep cherry/blood red enamel is a difficult point to counterfeit.

Hello Igor, I'm sorry I don't; I only specialize in post-1944 communist period...

Let's see your documented groups of the Socialist Yugoslavia.
Here's a group of my grandpa's awards with miniatures and documents. I've already posted his awards but I've never posted his documents. Funny story is that there's a Commemorative Medal for 20 Years of Yugoslav People's Army on his miniature bar but he never received that medal since he was at the academy at the time the medal was awarded in 1961. He also got a Tito plaque when he retired but unfortunately the document is lost.
Hello, this is a really nice group, with I suppose a huge affective signification...
Let me ask you a few questions please:
-What is the link between the small certificate ("uverenje") and the big dilpoma? Were they both decerned to the recipient (as it is done in Hungay or CSSR)
-I never saw any document about the commemorative medal (10, 20 and 30 years of JNA), do they exist?
Thank you for your insight!

These are extremly beautifull pieces! As I'm specialized in comunist stuf, I specially apreciate the hungarian national merit star...

These are not pieces for average collectors, with a minimum market price of 1500-2000 euros...

I am preparing a small database , because surprisingly I noticed there is a batch of documented stars within a short interval of time, that came in western Europe.

Really early piece, first time I see a 3-digits s/n...

The communist variation of this order had deleted the Swords...

Hello, I don't believe you'll find the location of this participant to a chess contest since I believe this medal could be given to everyone who won at a stage or another. Seems to have been a military contest.
The ribon is not the good one, there has been a mistake from the seller or the former owner...

The best hypothesis woiuld be the 1948 rupture...

Thank you for your input. So we could conclude that Belgrade mint had huge stocks of unissued orders in 1992...

Do you have any ideas for explaining the huge quantities and cheap prices of all this amount of stars?

Hello gentlemen, please confirm my analysis:
the 1st and 2nd classes shown here (and in post #29 from Ruiz) are soviet versions, with really thick and very smooth finish, and the bronze one is an albanian version with a slimer enamel and a more porous aspect. Am I correct?

Nice and scarce! Really neat fabric. The gold finish on the character is rellay surprizing.

This piece is brand new, not even a slight trace of patina...

Nice! I never saw on the internet any document for partisan stars... Must we suppose the doc is really scarce and hence the vast majority of proposed stars for sale are non-attributed (old stock from State mint) pieces?

Really nice! But how fragile are the documents... only flimsy paper!

Thank you for kind indications!

Hello, please forgive late answer. The medal is a bit dirty but enamels are intact. The doc is heavily worn but not torn. This was a simple ebay buying... now I don't see these sets (order+doc).
