    2. Award documents for Victory Over Germany Medal and Medal for the 1500th Anniversary of Kiev.
    3. Varvara Radchenko graduated from a Medical Technical School. She entered the armed forces in November 1941 and was promoted to Junior Lieutenant 10 October 1943 at the Voronezh Front, Medical services Junior Lieutenant at the Ukrainian Front on 6 January 1944 and was promoted to Lieutenant on 30 January 1946. She served in the 209 Engineer Obstacle Battalion then the 49th Engineer Brigade. She was released from service on 28 December 1946. She had a sister. The "Special Purpose" Engineer unit was a type of Special Forces unit whose main accomplishments were to set booby traps and mine buildings for demolition believed to be occupied by the advancing Germans. The demo teams would returm as Partisans or go behind enemy lines to destroy the buildings. There are a lot of documents and three ODMs. Doc

    5. I didn't have acetone but used "Goof off" It is acetone based. Gunk is gone and the medals are just fine. Thanks for the help!!! Doc

    7. I've been trying to find information about Lt. General M.M. Popov. He commanded the Northern Front during the Defese of Leningrad. So far I've found a brief paragraph in one book. Any help would be appreciated. Doc
    8. I re-worked my Pakistan display to fit the TiK, 2nd class. It's on the yellow felt circle until a ribbon comes along. It's not the best pic and I have some minor mounting changes to do to some of the medals. I just wanted to show the TiK's new home. Doc
