    10. Hi Matej, welcome to GMIC The cross is marked with a star (I have seen more photos), that indicates a later period of war, also the material of box indicates the same... And... he was surely not awarde in the first year of war (have looked in Ehrenbuch der O-U wehrmacht )
    11. Rick: Thanks for your opinion on this bar.... I have bought them together with some A-H ribbons (they were absolutely OK), i don´t collect german ribbons, so if somebody would like to have tho both german "things", its possible to change for A-H....
    12. Hi Peter.. As far as I know, there were two types of k.u. Honvéd buckle, have to look tomorrow in my "archive" if I have also photos.. Here in Slovakia I have seen a lot of photos of A-H soldiers wearing Honvéd buckle. At least so much as soldiers wearing classic A-H buckle (kuk Heer, ladwehr)
    13. Brian: Of course I can not say that this is the medal he is wearing on his portrait... It was normal, that officers (who had more money) had more of medals awarded - self purchased- to have one on each uniform ...
    14. Hi.. I need opinion on this ribbon... 18x42mm plate is steel, (copper finish?), more - see photos..
