    1. 40th anniversary of the Mongolian People's Army medal. (1960) Apparantly this medal was not much liked, because the center reminded too much of the Japanese lotus design, maybe that's why it never got "official" medal status
    2. Hi guys, Here some of the lesser known Mongolian awards. These are not official medals, rather badges, but no collection is complete witout them First off the badge for the 15 anniversary of the MPR (1936) Text avers: "15th anniversary honour medal." Text revers: "Mongolian Government. 26th year - 7th month" (remember the independence of Mongolia from China in 1911!)
    3. Eric, no problem, I think it's important to share info. You mention a few SN's that are would new high's or low's for my list. I will PM you the details. Do you have pics of the orders you put into your list, as a kind of "proof"? Jan
    4. Allow me to make a few "corrections" and additions to Eric's info. 8. Hi guys, This is the info I have gathered over the last few years for mongolian award date-numbers. Please keep in mind that the Mongolians used a different calender from 1921 until +-1946. They started counting from their indepence from China, after the fall of the Qing Empire, in 1911. 1911 was year 1, so if you find order booklets with entries for orders for the year 35, it is actually a 1945 award. First off the Order of the Polar Star: T1 185/1804 1936 Voroshilov, Kliment E., Marshal USSR (later n? a replacement?)
