Mongolia Mongolian Military Museum -email query

Has anyone recently emailed or had a reply from the Mongolian Military Museum? I cannot find any email address for it. Ranjit. -
Would the Mongolian officers cap band colour be in the cavalry blue (iv'e been told most Mongolian units at this time were cavalry) during the 1939 Khalkin Gol campaign or red? Ranjit.

Hello Ed ,just wondering what the NCO insignia was for the late 1930s-early WW2 and if greatcoat collar patches were like collar patches-blue and red or Soviet style with the band/insignia.I've seen a photocopy of the French "Carnet de la sabretache" publication which had b/w illustrations of officers rank insignia but not NCO's for Mongolian early WW2 insignia. Bit of an obscure unit ,has anyone got any info of field uniforms worn during WW2? I would assume kd . (i've also seen a mention of the Belize Volunteer Force, not too sure if this unit existed at the same time or a former name of the B H D F). Ranjit.

I would guess that Soviet uniforms and the 1935- insignia and branch collar patches were worn, but has anyone discovered anything? Ranjit.

Hello ,i've been told that Soviet uniforms were worn in the late 1930's with blue/red collar patches on the tunic , but what about collar patches on the greatcoats? Rank insignia on greatcoats? N.c.o insignia late 1930s? Ranjit.

I know the field uniform was a grey blue shirt, kd headcloth and shorts, red cummrebund, bandolier for O.Rs. But what of officers? the same or kd shirt, trousers ? cummerbund worn in the field? Ranjit.

Chris ,many thanks for your reply and aplogies for not getting back sooner.That incident you mention must be be the one mentioned in a book by Sir Charles Belgrave an adviser to the Emir of Bahrain, when he mentions a "munity" in 1926 . Regards Ranjit.

Hello, does anyone know what uniform (field/basic) was worn by the Nepalese Army during WW2 (stationed in Nepal,not India)? I would guess Gurkha k.d tunic,breeches/shorts ,slouch hat, m1903 leather or m1908 webbing ,helmet? Emails to the Nepal Army website have had no replies . Ranjit.
