    1. Next badge (with design based on Army Military Merit Badge) we`ve seen already in posts # 195-197, but now we have better photos + photo of reverse. This badge too was issued in the 1978 in commemoration of Emperor and Empress visit.
    2. My recent acquisition Interesting badge (from the family of badges that can be found in posts #163 and #324 + # 327) This one was issued in 1978 (so now we know that association issued badges with this design between 1978 and 1992) in commemoration of Emperor and Empress visit.
    3. Hmmm... I wonder Rich... You see, the strangest thing is that I have in my collection pieces that are identical (sacred treasures as far as I remember) in every respect except marks - one bears M and the other "private workshop" mark. Ain't it strange?! Will try to find this interesting pair and post it.
    4. More like inscription style # 39 Yep, very likely ;)
    5. Possibly... I think inside 1895-1915 period. Nice mark! Don't have this one (in this class) in my collection
    6. Familiar combination of marks ;)
    7. Unfortunately the price wasn't exactly sweet... More like AAAAWWWWWFUL
    8. Got my medal yesterday Will post HQ pictures in a couple of days ;)
    9. The style of all kanji's at the cover of this box is typical for post war period except kanji 8. Such 8 is typical for boxes from Meiji/Taisho/early Showa periods.
    10. I'd say 70's Yep, this style is closer to 8's on the pre-30's box covers.
    11. Tube is a really nice touch ain't it? These are pretty rare. Forget to tell that the name of recipient is Kunou Tsukasa. He was lieutenant in 39 infantry regiment and had 7th Imperial Court Rank.
    12. Two additional very interesting photos (pinched them from the old thread). Both cavaliers are unknown.
