    1. The Yunnan-Burma boundary dispute along China’s southwestern frontier emerged in the late nineteenth century due to conficting conceptions of national boundaries and was reignited in the 1920s as a result of warloards laissez-fair. After many armed clashes in 1934 the British and Nationalist governments reached a preliminary agreement on the formation of a new Sino-Burma Joint Boundary Commission. Most likely this badge connected with this negotiations.
