    1. Another document for the 3rd class of Lion and Sun order issued 17 October 1905 to the councillor of State, assistant director of Moscow custom office Dmitry Blavatsky (+ some additional documents including document for officer La Légion d'honneur order).
    2. Another document for the 2nd class of Lion and Sun (or at least a part of it ). Unknown date of issue (judging by the order type my estimate is 1900-1920), to the mysterious French University Director (?), but with original boxed order (Saniolmamalek, Teheran).
    3. It will be interesting to note, that the back of the document bear a certify stamp of Russian Imperial envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary in Persia.
    4. I think time has come to take a close look at the documents for lions and sun orders The size of the typical document (actually I think the right name will be shahs firmān [fr. Brevet/ eng. Sultan (Shah) decree) for Lion and Sun order is 455 х 285 mm. Here we have a nice example of such document for the 2nd class of Lion and Sun order issued 22 November 1911 to the assistant military governor of Batumi region, colonel Aleksey Dmitrievich Podgursky.
    5. Of course James, all these dealers - they all just like me... And it is obvious of course. 24/7 they are busy with replacement process. Everything that is not green was destroyed. And this green ribbons ... I guess there was some manufacturer to satisfy this dealer demand? Cheers, Nick
    6. Well, here is an interesting point. The happy owner of this beauty decided to show the actual size of the piece... Not through comparison with usual AA battery , but with 1st class order of glory... 223 1st class order of glory. Nice choice!!! A little homage to soviet phaleristics :)
    7. And now something special for the Markus. Russian work (I know he likes it ), emeralds + rock crystal. 72×72mm. Enjoy!
    8. And now this beautiful miniature. Probably russian workshop.

    10. Gavin, my advise - when you can and as cheap as you can Once I saw a photo of st. George 4th class cross cavalier goes for 1000+ bucks and since then I collect only digital photos Regards, Nick
