Both badges were manufactured in 20s.
Material - brass + paint.
That`s why sometimes these badges completely lost all "colors"

Interesting and pretty rare badge Chuck!
So called "Plate collection badge of Georgean MOPR"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Red_Aid
One of two known variations.
Here how another variant looks like

Yes, I noticed this beauty too
Not only "Badge of the highest rarity and of magnificent manufacture", but it's also in pristine condition!
I wonder where is the sash badge ...
P.S. Nicely set "minimum bid"

Another interesting oval commemorative badge!
This one was issued on January 28, 1993 in commemoration of 40th anniversary of organization.

Now this previosly mentioned British medal bar with 7th class sacred treasure.
According to London Gazette Private George Charles Hogbin (1st Battalion, Scots Guards) was awarded with 7th Class on July 21, 1919.

See how close central mirrors of late Meiji/eraly Taisho and Showa pieces?
That`s why I am not so sure that this piece came from Showa epoch...
See for yourself

Now about form of central mirror.
General rule will be "the bigger and less figured central mirror, the older the piece and vice versa"
Meiji / Meiji-Taisho / Showa

Differences in the script are obvious
