      "…north west of the town of Burshtin in the Stanislavsky District on 25 July 1944, during an engagement

      with the enemy in which Kozka’s platoon commander was wounded he immediately took over command,

      leading an attack on the enemy, despite heavy and concentrated enemy fire…” “ …he fulfilled his task with

      courage, his platoon inflicted heavy losses con the enemy without itself suffering any casualties…"
