    1. Type 6 “Pink ribbon” Yep. This famous “medal on pink ribbon” (a.k.a. “medal with the map”). This curiosity was custom-designed by organization Nihon Gouyuu Renmei (patriotic organization “Friends of the Homeland”) in 1979 to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the end of the Great East Asia War. Full set with white cardboard box
    2. Type 5 “On green ribbon flat reverse” Looks pretty terrible ... Obverse
    3. All medals of this type have same stable features
    4. Type 4 “On green ribbon in silver” Another variation of post-war replica (and more scarce than previous two). This one was made in silver in the 80s (maybe even earlier and later). In addition to the unusual material this type has unique ribbon and box. Here it is. Full set with inlay.
    5. Another nice example of 2nd class badge Obverse
    6. Makes you wonder if all these "slotted propeller + wide pin" types are actually post-war replicas
    7. Check this out guys. Badge with wide pin (although it is broken) but with usual propeller form (i.e. not “slotted propeller” as usual for this type of badge) And looks like this badge is made from silver! (usually wide pin badges are made from alloy) Obverse
    8. Looks like silver to me... Same superb quality... No "cheap alloy" in sight
