We really need a good discussion thread on medal/ribbon bars; make up, materials used, how the bars were put together, etc.
I guess one of these days we will have it

Almost like a twin brothers
Looks like a 6th class Rising Sun with those elongated rays.
Most likely 5th class.
Although 6th class is also theoretically possible.
Let`s not forget that rays became elongated only around 1940
earlier 6th classes looked exacly like 5th classes (except for the gilding)

Well, this forum certainly looks like dead in the water
Anyway, friend of mine recently asked me about how often do you see cavaliers with orders that have more than one class gap between two awards?
That is how often do we see a guy with a 6th or 5th Class RS and a 3rd Class ST, or a 6th Class RS and no ST?
Well, it certanly happens.
Let`s take a look
So this "more than one class gap" is (more or less) a normal thing

How obverse inscription reads?

1. It should be famous instead of infamous of course
2. Another possibility - Gouvernement Provisoire de Tientsin named them

Looks unusual
Do you have translation and photo of the reverse?

This is not a medal but a badge.
So it has no rank in the soviet medal system.
Cheers,
Nick

7804 could refer to the Hero number.
Paul

Two and a half years ago, I really thought that your placement of an emoticon at the end of your statement was a subtle way you were indicating that you had doubts about whether the badge in question was actually a cockade
It was a subtle way to indicate something else
Yep, it looks like typical general-major cockade

The badge is a Veterinarians badge a variety of Patrikeev, Bodjnovich 1.1.40
Paul
This is not a variation.
This is simply a badge for veterinarian medic.
Letters ВВ = Ветеринарный врач
