Hi all,
What is your opinion about these two bars?
Regards, Peter.

Ok. Still interesting to see close matches can be found, so i reckon he'll be found some day
No, can't be. The time frame just doesn't fit.

Interesting .... could our guy have the bar made before being qualified to wear the dienstauszeichnung 1.Klasse?
I found two close matches in my notes, but each was off by one. One had the exact same combination but also had a Prussian Crown Order 4th Class. The other had the exact same combination except a Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung 1.Klasse (two gold eagles).

Thanks for the feedback
Is there any news about the status of that new Hohenzollern HHOX?
Yes, very nice bar. Wehrmacht Heer service, 12-17 years by 1939. Not in Reichsheer. It will be difficult, but when the new Hohenzollern HHOX comes out, maybe there is a slight chance of ID'ing him...

Hi all,
This bar came in today. The crown on the 2nd ribbon throws you off but once you look at the back, it looks like it was replaced at some time in the past...
Any thoughts on it, and on possible identification?
Any help appreciated
Regards,
Peter

Hi Mark,
Very cool, thanks for sharing I wouldn't have been able to find that information myself
Hi Peter,
sadly I can't say any certain but in a Hungarian militaria forum was a conversation about this ribbon.
The gentlemen there mentioned two possible names: Maj. Gen. vitéz Zoltán Kozma and Maj. Gen. Ferenc Lóskay. Lóskay have a bit more chance because he owned bulgarian Militärverdienstorden, and he died in Germany.

The name is surely wrong. The owner was Hungarian but Felix Anders not served like officer in WWII Hungarian Army. Furthermore it is a German name.
Hi Mark,
Well, this is the name that came with the bar, but apparently you've got more information which you are willing to share with us?
Regards,
Peter

Hi all,
Today I received the following item, please take a look at the pictures.
According to the seller this is the ribbon bar of one Oberstleutnant Felix Anders. The following is a list of the decorations according to the seller:
- The first position has been glued for some unknown reason, with a piece of cloth. Perhaps this could have been a fascist decoration that could not have been worn after 1945.
- Hungary - Ungarischer Verdienstorden Offizierskreuz (1930-1938).
- Austria (Kaiserreich) - Orden der Eisernen Krone III. Klasse mit Kriegsdekoration und Schwertern.
- Hungary - Ungarischer Verdienstorden Ritterkreuz (1930-1938).
- Austria (Kaiserreich) - Militärverdienstkreuz III. Klasse mit Kriegsdekoration und Schwertern.
- Austria (Kaiserreich) - Bronzene Militärverdienstmedaille mit Schwertern (Signum Laudis), Kaiser Karl.
- Austria (Kaiserreich) - Bronzene Militärverdienstmedaille mit Schwertern (Signum Laudis), Kaiser Karl.
- Austria (Kaiserreich) - Bronzene Militärverdienstmedaille mit Schwertern (Signum Laudis), Kaiser Franz Joseph.
- Hungary - Bronzene Medaille mit der Krone am grünen Militärband (Signum Laudis) (1930-1945).
- Austria (Kaiserreich) - Karl Truppen Kreuz (1916).
- Hungary - Frontkämpferkreuz (Auflage fehlt) (1941-1945).
- Hungary - Kriegserinnerungsmedaille mit Schwertern für Frontkämpfer für 1914-1918 (1929).
- Hungary - Offiziersdienstzeichen (1923-1945).
- Hungary - Oberungarische Erinnerungsmedaille am rotblauen Band (1938).
- Hungary - Siebenbürgische Erinnerungsmedaille am blauen Band (1940).
- Bulgaria - Militärverdienstorden.
- Bulgaria - Kriegserinnerungsmedaille für Frontkämpfer 1915-1918 (1933).
- Austria (1. Republik) - Kriegserinnerungsmedaillefür Kriegsteilnehmer mit Schwerter 1914-1918 (Auflage fehlt) (1932).
- Austria (1. Republik) - Tiroler Landesverteidigungsmedaille 1914-1918 (1928).
Any thoughts about authenticity?
Can anyone confirm the decorations?
Can anyone confirm the name?
What would have been on the first position for decoration?
Any help appreciated
Regards. Peter.

Hi,
The bars are indeed different in size. Since they where sold seperately but at the same time by the same seller and share all kinds of characteristics I assumed they are from the same person...
Regards,
Peter
Hi,
They seems good to me. But not sure they belonged to same personn. It seems that both are not same size, can you confirm this please. Congrats for your purchasing

Hi all,
I have a case here were I need your help. Please take a look at the photo's.
I bought these from Weitze recently. They were sold at the same time but seperately. I discovered on arrival that they shared some similarities.
1) both bars are filled/stiffened with exactly the same red leather and
2) both bars have the same types of swords (there are 2 types on both bars). The swords are exactly the same on both bars for the 2 types, down to the smallest imperfections.
3) The width and general makeup are the same.
Unfortunately Weitze couldn't tell me if they came from the same source.
I tested the ribbons and they are all UV negativ.
Are these bars o.k (or should I return them) and could they have belonged to the same person?
Thanks.
Peter
