That last one his excellent - and he certainly doesn't appear to be Mongolian!

Not as spectacular as some of the other recent postings, but I'm a big fan of this award and am also very interested in related documents.

Thanks - very useful reference point. The numbering style looks very well aligned with 413 and 420 shown earlier in this thread. I do believe (off top of my memory) that these are post-socialist awarded ones though.

Appreciate if you could share more of your Mongolia collection here on GMIC - especially groups, documents and rare (numbered) awards.

Some new Jamyan items arrived (and there's more to come, incl. something interesting from DPRK):

1) Medal "Glory to the Virgin Land Cultivators" (document was already in my posession)

2) 60 Year to Mongolian State Security Badge with the VIP doc

Just got this, a surprising tiny badge for the Albanian state travel/tourist org "Albturist"

Reverse, a far cry from the super slick Soviet medal bars you sometimes see. Clearly these medals on this bar have some real "history" behind them!

And here another bar - mixed cloth / plastic ribbons and also interesting to notice the repair of the red star order at the ring.

But yesterday I visited the Kassel fair. A bunch of dealers with a few Mongolian items (nothing special... aside from the insane prices). Also one dealer almost exclusively focused on Mongolian (aside from the antique christmas tree decorations depicting uncle Adolf...). He had something very interesting: a high quality "miniature" of order of red banner... at least, that would be the best way to describe it. On a tiny red enamel badge. Anybody else seen something like this before?
