roeland if you can post a pic. on the krigsmarine what i find odd is that they never had a badge on there lanyards like the other services. roeland not sure when introduced i expect around 1934 ish when nearly all badges etc then incorporated the swaz. there are twelve grades on the army , 8 for panzer and 8 for luft if my memory serves me right. i am looking out for luft ones at the moment as seem more rare to get thyan the others for some reason

HMS Ganges now

the second photo i changed from colour to black and white which i think came out very good. the drill halls were still used as drill halls when i was in police training in 1991. the base no longer a police training college hence the neglete it now suffers. i did hear that the sight was going to be developed into a housing complex but the mast has a presavation order put on it now so that cannot be touched. just hope they maintain it and dosn't rot away -

as soon as i can get mine out of the frame i will take some better pics straight on and not at an angle. on the looks mine is indeed a dud . which surprises me as came with a large group of which all the other stuff was 100% correct. one good thing its not the expensive end of collecting. on the white enamel around the swaz it indeed does not go all the way round but there is a hair line mark where the enamel would of run into if it wasnt so thin. one for the hammer when i take it out
