I got this pennant with some nazi stuff. I assume it is Weimar era, but want to be sure its on the up & up before I offer it for sale. I doesn't blacklight and it seems like other old cloth I have. I am looking for a proper ID and what a fair price is.

Don, your description is good but I'm having some difficulty picturing it on a badge. can you or anyone post a photo ?
-
A friend recently told me, about a particular badge, not to buy it because it was an RS and RS made many of them post war and they were exactly the same as the wartime badges, therefore hurting the value, etc. So my question is what badge or badges does this apply to?

I recieved this cross and I thought the paint looked a bit odd so I checked some other things. According to Williamsons book it should weigh 20g, (Maker 100) this one weighs 15g. to test my scale I weighed an EK-1 maker #1 and it was exactly 20g. The measurements- it was correct across the piece, but the ends were like 25mm rather then 27. So whacha think?

I want to thank each of you for your help!! I am typing this at 2:40 am Christmas morning.. got kicked out of bed because of hick-ups, so here I am until they quit. Anyone with a nice Assault badge of any type for sale feel free to contact me. I did buy from one of the guys in this this thread, but you know I'll be needing more!

I'm trying to learn some good rules of thumb so I don't have to keep asking.. So what makes #1 a good flatback? this one is a bit concave.. is it OK?
-
Darrell (or anyone), On the #4 is that maker in a flatback always a fake?

here is number 4. I put it on a dark background and didn't use a flash. It has a white-ish frosted finish that washes out pretty bad with flash.

I am looking at a bronze panzer assault badge maker RS&S. It looks great, except that the pin is steel not bronze. I believe that means it was replaced. Am I correct? price is $150.00 which I believe is OK if it had a bronze pin, feel free to coach me on that too. If I did it right there will be a photo attached (I'm new here, this is my first post)
