    1. AHHH! The two beauties. Very glamorous and they don't talk back! Take care Robert
    2. We are here at the same time. Relief at last! Thank You sir. You know it is very hard to judge an uncommon piece without a reference to go by. You don't know how pleased I am. Thank you again. Robert
    3. Thank You Gents It had been on hold for me since this past July. The reverse is nothing special and kind of reminds me of a tinnie. This is acceptable to me as 8001e is of the tinnie type as well. I have to assume authenticity as I haven't ever had another in hand or in view for comparison. Don, I am sending you over the image to post if you would be so kind sir.
    4. Reverse is unmarked. I know it has a scratch or two but this was the only example I have ever been able to find. I was going to post the reverse but not able because of exceeded space requirements. Strange because I cropped reverse smaller than the opening image and put in as reply. I will wait until tommorow.
    5. Gents After a bit of a wait, I finally managed to add this KdF Oberbayern Brosche. I am curious if it was worn at the base of the neck or on the breast and hoping a member may have a photo of one in wear. Have a good day. Robert
    6. [attachmentid=58019] Just slightly however. In 1936 observed on May 24. I did a little search and found that 24 May is a Wednesday. Maybe held at night with much firelight?
    7. [attachmentid=57999][attachmentid=58000] A local show find. I haven't been able to find it in any of Manion's books. Tieste surely would list it I suspect.
    8. Jacky Thank you for the instructions. It will be a great project for them. Good Sunday to you. Robert PS Matt and thank you for your imput. Since I don't see these very often I tend to not be exactly sure what I have.
    9. I agree with Benten. A very nice badge and somewhat appropriate today. Correct me if I am wrong but are not the populations of most EU countries in decline? I happened to listen to Vladimir Putins' state of the nation speech over the Summer and his theme was the introduction of new benefits to encourage the Russian people to procreate in greater numbers with offerings of longer periods of time off payments for the Mother, increased benifits for each additional child added to the family, etc. He went as far as to ask Russian expatriates to return to Russia. Thanks for showing that nice tinnie James.
    10. [attachmentid=57468][attachmentid=57469] Since we are allready in the air about number 1, please take a look at this one. Unmarked with a high quality off white enamel. Not TR but perhaps another country? Time period. Anyone care to speculate? As always Robert
    11. [attachmentid=57464][attachmentid=57465] Gents I have trying for quite some time to naildown the time frame for this stickpin. I guess it would be a light metal craft flying group. The maker is Lehmann & Wundenberg Hanover who is not among the RZM makers. I am hoping another member could take a look and speculate. Another brainteaser will follow this one. Take Care and thank you. Robert
    12. Benten Nothing on this one in Manion's volumes. Perhaps in Tieste's? One day I would like to learn all of the diferent german script. Maybe when retired. Robert I forgot to add that that is an uncommon tinnie.
    13. Matt Does your example have an RZM mark on it and a rivet? These are so far and few between that I haven't really had any others to see for comaprison. Robert
    14. [attachmentid=57228] I might add that at these prices you will surely now have to worry about counterfeiters. I try to draw the line at $40 for any tinnie. That is becoming harder and harder to do.
    15. [attachmentid=57227] Benten I like that postcard. Is there any writing on the back? And Joe, I hear what your saying. Believe it or not I have seen this one sold from 100 to 150 dollard in the recent past. At times it makes me want to start to cash in my chips. Feldernhalle fever?
    16. Don I wasn't aware of that. Logically, I wouldn't have thought that would be the case in as much as Tr tended to separate the genders. Any thoughts on the RZM marked badge with the B replacement style attaching pin? Best Regards Robert
    17. [attachmentid=57051] Gents I am hoping another member might have one of these neckerchief knots. My son has promised to take good care of this so I have been letting him wear it to his scout meetings. He gets lots of compliments but only I know about it. Call it DJ circa 2006. It is marked RZM on the reverse without a number however. This is why I ask for help if you have one and would be willing to post an image. I can post the reverse if you want. Just ask. Thank You Robert
    18. [attachmentid=57045][attachmentid=57046] Benten Very nice Thuringen you have there. They are hard to find in that condition. Here is one of my favorites.....Hj Aufmarsch Hamburghein Godenwind. I have seen these with the diamond in enamel. A rare bird. Let us try to bring this thread back from life support. You show one and I will show one. Robert
    19. [attachmentid=57041][attachmentid=57042]Gents Long time no speak. Here is another recent addition to my HJ collection. M1/70 9253. I don't know about you but I am now more confused about these than ever before. I happened to check a dealer's site today and noticed the upgraded replacement attachment pin on an RZM marked badge. Also, there was a badge with document to a woman? Maybe my eyes deceived me. What do you guys make of all this? have a nice weekend. Robert
    20. Good observation Kevin. They could be both pinback versions or one pinback and one cap device. The only way to know I guess is if there is a collector out there who is holding an original cap with badge attached. I also now realize and appreciate more my well-used HJ knife. Everybody always seems to prefer the minty examples but see how they were used. That will put some wear on them. Robert
    21. Don Thanks for the link about St. Hubertus. Now for those who imbibe, I ask if any German members could translate what is written around the outside edge of the front label of a Jagermeister bottle. I beleive it states something along the lines of always making a clean kill and an honorable kill. I am not positive though. Perhaps the bottles are labelled diferently in the US. I am not sure. I know this is slightly off-topic but still relates to the hunting tradition.
    22. [attachmentid=56297][attachmentid=56298] Fantastic photos. I noticed the cap badge in photo 25. I have what I always assumed to be an HJ knife diamond but perhaps it is a cap badge?
