    1. The WWII Era HSc was a .32 pistol(7,65). I guess these were used by personnel that needed to carry a sidearm, but wanted something that was a little more compact. Also, Officers had to pay for their pistols...they were not issued the sidearm like the Enlisted. There was a saying...."The higher the rank....the smaller the pistol" they also said it had something to do with their manhood too...lol Mike P.S. These little pistols are very accurate. I have a "Shooter" example that I shoot alot and it is very accurate, right on. I can put headshots in man size target all day long at 10 yards. Anyone that gets hit in the head with this little thing....Is dead ;)
    2. Thank you so much for the nice words. When I get the chance I will post some more pictures of a couple of others... Mike
    3. Thanks Brian. I had that idea rolling around in my head for awhile. I was able to get a piece from a nice lady that makes reproduction German uniforms. On the March is the name of the company. Really nice lady. I have another display with 6 other HSc's of my collection. I will put a pic for you. Mike
    4. Here is a neat Mauser Late War display I recently created. I used Reproduction German Tunic material on bottom. There is a CCC in Bronze, EKII Ribbon Bar, 2 extra Late War Magazines, and a Box of DWM 7,65 ammo. The one HSc is a extreme late war(near end of production) Phosphate Army model with the "Straight Line" WaA135 marking on trigger guard. The other HSc is also a very Rare Late War E/F marked Police Model. Mike
    5. Do you know where else this unit may have served/been sent to?
    6. Thanks so much! Very helpful and quick. My friend and I were wondering the same thing. I am not sure if my friend when he bought this document found out about the history of it. Thanks again. I will relay the info to him. We both study and collect the Mauser HSc and this is just another neat little artifact. Take Care, Mike
    7. Hello. Can anyone help IDing this Soldats Unit? It shows his name and Stab/Inf ******** 119 I can not make out the Cursive Writing, and am not sure what the rest says. This particular soldier Aquired a Personal Purchase Firearm(Mauser HSc) and this is the receipt. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me with this. Regards, Mike
    8. Thanks. I saw the post about Mauser HSc's, and since I collect them...I thought I would post a couple of shots on some of mine. I have a few others and am going to work on some more projects...just not done yet....Take care and thanks for the nice comments. I will try and post some more pics at a later date when I get the others together for another project. Regards, Mike
    9. Here is another picture of a nice walnut display case that a friend made me. Inside is a nice 5th Variation HSc with the "ejo" Black phenolic resin grips. Also in the case is a Iron Cross 1st Class(W&L manufacture) and 8 DWM 479A Rounds.
