I will second that! The buyer is a lucky guy!

It's an Austrian post WWI veterans' cross: Ehrenkreuz der österreichischen Ehrenlegion.
I agree. I believe this is what it looks like.
I believe ribbon No.3 is for the Tirol Commemorative Medal not the Bulgarian.
Ribbon No.4 could represent an Austrian Long Service Decoration.

John,
A very nice intact Hamburg Hanseatic Cross there. It has been stored safely over the years. If you ever consider letting this one go please let me know.

I think that I have actually seen this bar in the past two years in another auction site (emedals or bretzendorfer). Where did you find this one?
I think it was on Jamie Cross' website recently.

Dear Sandro,
I would agree with the other gentlemen, the last three ribbons are Hesse Medal (most likely a bravery medal), Hamburg Hanseatic Cross & Lübeck Hanseatic Cross.
Congratulations on getting this one. I was tempted to bid on it myself. It is sometimes difficult to come across ribbon bars with the Lübeck Hanseatic Cross ribbon.

Hi Matt,
You are right about the two things. The ribbons are too new to be honest. Do you know the seller ? The medals looks good to me so probably you can buy it for the value of the medal only. LEt's see what the others gentlemen have to say.
Christophe
Hi Christophe,
I do not know the seller personally. His eBay user ID is flamebellow.
Edit: The medal bar has a "Buy It Now" price of $450USD.

Gentlemen,
I am considering buying this medal bar, currently on eBay.
Two things worry me;
The minty ribbons
The Bavarian Long Service Medal placed after the EK2. I would expect it to be after the Bavarian MVK.
I would be interested in hearing your opinions Gentlemen.
My thanks

That's an overlapped Bavarian military long service award ribbon, so the wearer was at least in Bavarian service, if not a Bavarian native.
Odd he's wearing the two Prussians in front of the Bavarians. Maybe not a native... ?!
Sascha,
Regarding both your above points- I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Is there anyway a Prussian could end up with a Bavarian Long Service Cross?
Or is there some possible reason why his Prussian decorations took precedance if he is in fact Bavarian?

Dear Timo,
These are very nice additions to your collection.
I believe the second ribbon on the first ribbon bar represents one of the many Saxe-Ernestine Decorations. Looking closely at it I can see the definitive thin black stripe on the inside edge of the green stripe.

A very informative thread gentlemen. There is a lot more to this medal than I first thought.
@lambert: interesting that there are buttons on the reverse for attaching instead of a pin. I have a ribbon bar that is quite similar.

I don't believe I have seen one of these on the non combatant ribbon.
I really like these with the Crown attached.
Great to see and thanks for posting!
