Anybody recognize the meaning of the stamping in the lower right that seems to spell 'КИРОВСКИЙ РАЙВО'?  КИРОВСКИЙ translates to Kirovsky so a regional thing?  None of my medal or battle-participation docs have a 'counter-stamp' like that.

Yeah, social media has ruined this hobby as well! (Kinda kidding)  I think social media attracts fringe collectors, whereas the more dedicated stay focused on forums.  And the funny thing is, at least on the few SM sites I watch the big 3 forums(this one, GMIC,& WPAF) are always mentioned when it comes to finding answers.

I thought I'd hooked a guy on one of the militaria forums on reddit.  Made a nice imgur album about Yugo awards after he asked me for some details.  And, then like usual, no reply at all.

Nice group!  I'd like to know a little more about the mini OG3.  Never seen one of those before.

Probably awarded in the middle of 1944.  Researching Soviet awards by serial number is possible these days and it is not terribly expensive.

Interesting take.  That ORB is pretty early.  And the CSM is even earlier; would be interesting to see what actions entailed that award.

And I think everybody with an OG2, myself included, hope to find out it's part of a cavalier group.

Looks good to me.  Probably awarded towards the end of 1944, so a solid wartime award.  Shame about the missing ribbon but the suspension looks original to the award.

The main problem is that there about a thousand variations of the the George Cross and it's hard to tell where the legit variations end and the BS copies begin.

Back in the day, during my brief foray into Imperial Russian awards, I registered with a couple of the bigger Russian language forums and posted there.  And I got some help, so good luck mate!

The one on his right breast looks like an Order of Kutuzov.

Man, that's nice. Super early ORB.  Those mirror reverses are very pleasing.  Nice set.

Looks like a T1V1 which originally came on the triangular suspension.  Looks to be in very good condition as well.  Great find.

I'm no expert on these early school badges.  But just from the (nice) images I like the first one a lot more than the second. 

After having looked at Avers8 (pg479-481) I can see minor variations, from either batch or mint, that make me feel more confident about badge #2.

Agreed, the Partisan is probably bad.  Don't feel too bad though as I have a bad Partisan as well.

That flatback Badge of Honor is a keeper!

I like the first one more than the second one.

They were similar to the Soviet style, but a lot clunkier.  Attached are modern copies, but you get the idea I hope.  

Never seen the like but I must say I love it!
