A Wehrwolf with an unusual skull. No Prussia, no Brunswick skull!
It seems it is a similar large skull like the other one. Ok, not the same, but similar I think.
We know, Wehrwolf members used all kinds of skulls during early years.
This skull was in an auction today. The seller stated, it came from the same source like the Freikorps badge Chiemgau (Oberbayern).
Ideas, what this skull could be? Maybe too large for cap skull? A sleeve skull? Or for another use?
Correct! The skull looks like the typical flamethrower skull (Prussia) and I was sure that there was a relation. Thanks, Thomas.
Not all ww1 boards were compareable...
Today some flamethrower and other photos were sold by a seller on ebay. Robin posted one of his photos in #219. Next photo was in another auction of this seller. Because the skull I wonder, had the photo a relation to the Flammenwerfer?
