Hello, do any US members have a copy or access to the following book? "Identification the worlds military,naval and air uniform,s, insignia and flags" published in 1943 by the Military services publishing company. John.

Does anyone have a copy or access to Dr Battushigs book? Is there any info or illustrations of the 1936-44 spearhead/bastion sleeve (red?) patches? Just wonndering if "other ranks" had them or perhaps the diamomd patches,(unless these were greatcoat patches).Dave.

Just looking at Ed Haynes excellent photos of his 2008 visit to the Mongolian Military Museum ,and was pleased to see the WW2/1936-44 rank insignia. But does anyone know what ranks are displayed? What one of those sleeve badges was worn by the "other ranks"? the diamond or square badge? Are those sleeve badges with the white piping junior officers or n c o's? Would the Battishig "Mongolian orders,medals and badges " book mention it? Dave.
