Everyone thanks for the additional information....... Those postwar Kameradschaft documents must contain an enormous wealth of information for those who want to research these ships, is this 'Kameradschaft' still active? Don't know if Eisenhuth is still alive, I think there are only a few left now.... Regards, Mark

Awards page, EK2 awarded 3th July 1941 after exactly one year at sea, Hilfskreuzer-abzeichen awarded 1st Dec. 1941 after completing the first cruise and return in Hamburg, signed again by Huschenbeth. Minensucher-abzeichen awarded while serving with Sperrbrecher 18 of the 3th Sperrbrecher-Flottille.

Hello Gentlemen, I've been watching this forum for a while now and I must admit that I enjoy it very much! I think that I found the right place to learn more about this fascinating hobby. For that reason I want to show you my first cased Iron Cross in my first post on this forum. The cross is marked WS, and there appears to be a small mark at the needle's back, don't know what this is? The case is burgundy with a purple inlay, but for some reason my camera can't find the right colours...... Kind Regards, Mark
