    1. This award is unofficial. It belongs to the so-called "vanity medals" sold to WW1 vets by various "Kriegervereine" during the Weimar Republic era. The Weimar Constitution, article 109, prohibited the making of official orders or decorations.

    3. Hi Nick, Thank you for getting back to me. Although it might look very "Westerner" I think it is Chinese because of the colours used in the central medallion. Whereas for the missing part, it looks like nothing is missing... Cheers, Jean-Sam.
