I think this might be German manufactured, it reminds me of an anti.aircraft piece the British captured in the Falkland war against Argentina and on display at the Imperial War Museum in London, must have look through my photo albums and see if I can locate the pictures for comparison. I will next post a series of pictures obtained from one family, the family history is interesting with officers serving Romania going back to W.W.1, W.W.2, Post W.W.2 Communist R.P.R. period and Communist R.S.R. period and post communist period. When I asked the gentleman why he was willing to get rid of such pictures he replied, "My only daughter has no interest in them!" Sad Kevin in Deva. :cheers:
    18. Picture 12 Family Studio Portrait. The rather relaxed soldier sports the Romanian Cross of War for service in WW1. Penciled notation to the rear of the card dated :- 26 III 1920. Which might explain why he sports no Romanian Inter-Allied Victory Medal. Kevin in Deva. :cheers:
    19. Picture 11 Sadly no name & no medals but a fine looking military figure. In the rear top right corner nearly completely covered with writing is the name of the photographer in Sibiu. Kevin in Deva. :cheers:
