    7. Hi Don, Thanks for your post. I shall not take this piece, your makers mark augment convinces me. What I had hoped for, was that collectors with these badges would post them particularly pictures of the reverse side. Enabling collectors to build up a consensus of what was really on the reverses i.e. which maker/s made them, whether they had membership numbers on them ? pin set up etc. Perhaps there still time for some collectors to post relevant pictures. Again thanks for the help.
    8. Interested in buying this Reichsluftschutz 3rd Model badge, I've looked through the internet found very little on this badge only three examples and no shots of the reverse. I do have a couple of concerns - my piece, the front has yellow enamel, the internet examples have green enamel. I own a Reichsluftschutz 2nd model badge on the back (reverse) which has a members number on the back, I expected to see it continued i.e. members number on the 3rd model, however there's none. Do members have any knowledge on these badges. Any information welcome
    9. Bill, Thanks for your time on this. Summarizing your last two posts - its a regulation combat feldbluse - modified, and used by the military police arm of the Schutzpolizei. A branch which was solely concerned with military matters, hence due to feldbluse, no contact with the public. From the outset I was confident, the uniform was genuine, as people say, the devil is in the detail, i.e. no cuffs and a different vent, that started me wondering. Its always nice to have a answer up your sleeve, if anyone asks and to be able to explain. Best Wishes
    10. Hi Bill, I was hoping, If anyone came in on this, it would be you. I follow your post, the explanation / hypothesis that the cuffs are missing, could be you say, that they didn't strictly adhere to regulations, rather than this being a purposeful, distinct uniform variation. Here's four more pictures, one with owners stamp - Eigentum - Kosisn - Leih Anstalt, Lambert - Hofer, Wien, IV Norgau***** 18, I wondered, due to the Austrian connection, whether they may have had a variation all their own ? Again Bill thanks for the help on this. Best Wishes.
    11. Last week bought this Feldbluse Jacket of a Schutzpolizeimeister, its a late war piece 1944. Comparing it with others on the thread, I notice its one of the few without brown French cuffs and has one short vent without buttons, against most of the thread jackets having brown cuffs and two long tailored vents with buttons. Is this difference because my one is a feldbluse and the others are parade pieces ? or was the design changed on the later jackets ? Any information welcome.

    18. Picked this small stickpin up at the weekend, I know its either from NSRB - the NS Jurist' League. N.S. Reichtswahrerbund or BNSDJ - Bund Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Juristen. It would appear both had identical stickpin patterns. I did find out the NSRB under the Ministry of Justice, had a membership of around 90,000 including lawyers, judges, notaries, etc. The organization was suspended in 1943. Regards

    20. Picked up this trio of badges from Kleintierzücher (RDK) orgainization ( small animal breeders) the two smaller ones are membership badges, the larger round one is for 15 years membership. Don't know too much about the organization believe they breed pigeons, cats, rabbits, hampsters generally small animals. If members have more in-depth knowledge please post.
    21. Bought these two stick-pins in a South German second-hand shop. Round one measures 16mm, hexagonal one 17mm across flats. The skull and cross bones piece with K.C.L. initials is a puzzle, maybe a Freikorps pin ? I don't know. The hexagonal pin has to my eyes a bit of a eastern design - Turkish perhaps. I've looked through Hüskens newest catologue "Abzeichen deutscher Organsationen 1871 -1945" found nothing. Perhaps members may have some information ?
