Looks like a rosette was removed from the 1914-15 star.

could some of the more knowledgeable collectors tell me for what the rosette device was? and the oak leaves as well!?

Rosette ribbon device was to represent a bar on the 1914 star. The bar was awarded to those that had been under fire between 5 August 1914 and midnight on 22/23 November 1914.

The oak leaf is for a MID (Mention in Dispatches).
