so as far i understand, you recommend the new republished Iron Time than the iron cross 1939 right??

Dietrich Maertz is coming out soon with a book on the Knights Cross, no less essential than Previtera's book (probably more). Previtera's book will be chock full of excellent quality photos, and Dietrich provides the unmatched literal definition of the Cross. They will be a good pair to look forward to.

nope. nope. nope.

both are books in my library and both are

scholarly efforts on the part of the respective

authors. they are complimentary and both deserve

a spot in almost any militaria library!
