I think that badge looks like a very bad Reproduction to me ! A cheap casting with lots of repair work to correct a bad repro , in my humble opinion .

il get better pics as i just got the camera and am still working on it!! but the detail is there and iv looked this with a magnfing glass and its not cast!!!
