Daniel Murphy
Here is a buckle I got with a grouping belonging to Ottoman Leutnant W. Ottersbach who served in Ottoman Flieger Abteilung 6 at Chanakkale from 1916 to 1918. It is an otherwise normal wartime Turkish officer's buckle. The belt unfortunately did not survive the passage of time. Dan Edited September 19, 2006 by Daniel Murphy

Tosun Saral
I am not sure but with ottoman script the buckle must be before 1928. A buckle of granddress of officers. I add 3 photos of importand Turkish pashas with a buckle which has similarities.Enver Pasha

Rowan Stevens
Boy what a fantastic Buckle! How can I find out about the different Buckles out there, is there a book or website for world Buckles?Great stuff.Rowan
lach470
I don't think there's a book out there on buckles from around the world. Nash and Angolia pretty much have top spots for books on German belt buckles.Cheers!Rob
