abbreviations: L.L , L.As

I need some help on abbreviations again.

This relates to armaments at a british coastal battery.

What is an "L.L" and a "L.As."

M.Gs I assume are machineguns?

Just a guess, but Light, Land and Light, Air (dunno where the s comes in).
