Are these Silver Stars the right ones for these Air force Shoulderboard Rank? Or should they be gold?

Depends on how OLD they are.

Gold on gold came in some time in the mid 1960s, I believe. The latest regulations I have are from 1958, so precisely when (before the 1969 transformation) I don't know.

Sizes are correct for junior and senior boards.

BTW, to prevent getting the ICKY "shredded wheat" looking boards, scan them SIDEWAYS and then rotate the scan for viewing. The complicated bullion pattern confuses the moving scanner, but sideways seems to get the shadows in the weave pattern better.
