Mystery medal with EK 1915

Hello Gents,

I received a picture with the request for identification of the medal in it ... Some veterans association medal perhaps ? Not my cup of tea I'm afraid so I'm hoping to get some help here. What's this medal, what would be the correct ribbon for it, etc. etc.

The reverse of the medals is completely blank ...

this is a very attractive piece of patriotic jewelry!

it has no association with a vets' organization, but

the whole area of patriotic jewelry is easily an area

which could be collected in it's own right.

this particular piece is one of the nicest items

i've seen!

I like these patriotic pieces and have had quite a few. It would no doubt have been worn around the neck with a silver coloured chain.
