Bob Hunter Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Nothing rare or fantastic. Just nice with the veteran's crosses verboten after 1935.
Guest Rick Research Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 Notice the extremely wide armed Mecklenburg FFK2! Could you scan us the reverse of one of the veterans' crosses? His Evilness never gave me a cahnce, and these were the first I have seen in eons-- marked by a completely unknown-to-me purveyor of such items.

Bob Hunter Posted June 30, 2005 Author Posted June 30, 2005 ...and a better shot of the "wide armed" FFK2.
David Gregory Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 Bob,That is a very nice pre-1934 bar with one of my favourite award combinations (Mecklenburg/Hanseatic cross).Could you show an image of the stippling on the arms of the Mecklenburg cross, please?Does it display any file or other finishing marks on the edge? Many thanks in advance,David
Bob Hunter Posted June 30, 2005 Author Posted June 30, 2005 (edited) I'm sorry David, I can't do it and stay within the file size limitations of this forum. If you would like a picture send me your email and I'll send it that way. There are faint traces of file marks that have been polished and well finished. Edited June 30, 2005 by Bob Hunter
